SURABAYA, INDONESIA JULY 10: Broiler meat prices also increased in the month of Ramadan, from Rp. 25,000 to Rp. 31,000 in the traditional market on July 10, 2013 in Surabaya, Indonesia. It is a tradition that the price of basic produce always rises during Ramadan, but this year’s increase is higher than normal and will last up to the Eid al Fitr. Although prices are high, interest in buying still remains as Traders complain of a depletion of their stock.
